Weekends and public holidays
From the station in Halle to “Lembeek Congo”: De Lijn Bus number 2 (25 minutes by bus + 17 minutes on foot to the “Vlasmarktdreef”, entrance forest).
Please note: this bus runs once every 30 minutes.
Or: from the station in Halle to “Hallerbosstraat”: De Lijn Bus R55 (16 minutes by bus + 10 minutes on foot to Parking 1 Hogebermweg, entrance forest).
As the TEC bus does not provide a weekend service, access to the forest by public transport is limited at weekends. For timetables, see: www.delijn.be
There is a bus stop ‘Hallerbosstraat’ for the bus Lijn R55. This way you can get to the wood through the Hogebermweg (Car park 1).

Please note: due to the construction of the ecoduct, the Vlasmarktdreef is interrupted in the direction of Achtdreven (from June 2023 to November 2024).
