For over 20 years, on the edge of the Hallerbos, the true taste of local cuisine has been available in the restaurant ‘t Kriekske (Cherry). The cook, Victor Van Roy, worked in numerous restaurants in Brussels and at sea during his military service. The specialities of the House include: mussels, steaks, “paling in ‘t groen” (eel in green sauce) and rabbit! Depending on the season and what is available at the market, new dishes are served weekly. You can enjoy all this in an attractive interior, or outdoors on an inviting terrace.
