Forest management

The Hallerbos has had a fascinating history. Nowadays, the forest has a social-recreational function. In about one fifth of the forest, nature is left alone to develop spontaneously. In the other parts the forest is actively managed, striving to create a varied forest, concentrating on spring flowers.
