Day after day, more flowering <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildlifetrusts.org\/wildlife-explorer\/wildflowers\/wild-daffodil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wild daffodils<\/a> can be seen. In the edges of the wood, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodlandtrust.org.uk\/visiting-woods\/trees-woods-and-wildlife\/british-trees\/a-z-of-uk-native-trees\/blackthorn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blackthorn<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodlandtrust.org.uk\/visiting-woods\/trees-woods-and-wildlife\/british-trees\/a-z-of-uk-native-trees\/goat-willow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">willow<\/a> trees are blooming. The willow trees\u2019 male yellow catkins stand out. The ground flora is getting colourful with yellow flowers of <a href=\"https:\/\/wildplantguide.com\/coltsfoot-monograph-for-foragers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coltsfoot<\/a>, that appear on leafless stems, as the leaves will only appear later; a few white flowers of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildlifetrusts.org\/wildlife-explorer\/wildflowers\/wood-anemone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wood anemones<\/a> and a few blue flowers of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plantopedia.com\/vinca-minor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dwarf periwinkle<\/a> hidden between their dark green leaves. In the morning, you might even encounter a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mammal.org.uk\/species-hub\/full-species-hub\/discover-mammals\/species-roe-deer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">roe deer<\/a> when there aren\u2019t many visitors and dogs.
