In the edges of the wood, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.woodlandtrust.org.uk\/visiting-woods\/trees-woods-and-wildlife\/british-trees\/native-trees\/goat-willow\/\" target=\"_blank\">goat willows<\/a>\u00a0are blooming and provide food for the butterflies that hibernate as a butterfly. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukbutterflies.co.uk\/species.php?species=rhamni\" target=\"_blank\">Brimestone<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ukbutterflies.co.uk\/species.php?species=io\" target=\"_blank\">common peacock<\/a>\u00a0fly and frolick and come to refuel at the flowers of the willows. Now is the ideal time to observe the birds. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/birds-and-wildlife\/bird-and-wildlife-guides\/bird-a-z\/g\/greatspottedwoodpecker\/\" target=\"_blank\">Woodpeckers<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/birds-and-wildlife\/bird-and-wildlife-guides\/bird-a-z\/n\/nuthatch\/index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">nuthatches<\/a> are the acrobats of the wood. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plantlife.org.uk\/uk\/discover-wild-plants-nature\/plant-fungi-species\/daffodil-wild\" target=\"_blank\">Wild daffodils<\/a> are now flowering profusely. We have to wait for blooming <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plantlife.org.uk\/uk\/discover-wild-plants-nature\/plant-fungi-species\/bluebell\" target=\"_blank\">bluebells<\/a>. But wood anemones and wild daffodils give the wood its spring atmosphere.
